Founded in 2008, Biomedical Techniques specializes in testing, calibrating, and servicing medical equipment.

We are a subsidiary of Surgchem (Parent company), a company that was established in 1981. With over 40 years of experience as a major distributor of numerous branded medical devices, Surgchem has been supplying surgical instruments, hospital furniture, and biomedical devices to the medical field. Working closely with prominent hospitals in Kerala and beyond, we gained an understanding of how the quality of medical equipment plays a crucial role in patient safety. Inventions are born out of necessity, hence the establishment of BMTQ, which is dedicated to the calibration, servicing, and testing of medical devices such as X-ray machines.

we were authorized by AERB in the year 2014 for performing Quality Assurance test on diagnostic radiology x-ray equipment.

We were accredited by NABL in January 2021 for our hospital equipment testing facility, and in June 2022 we were accredited by NABL for the calibration of hospital equipment.
